[ At least he's got most of the stress out of his system now. He's still anxiety ridden and sleepy but there you go. He's probably still in the hospital after heading there in the wee small hours when Jun texted him, but: ]

But, alas, I can't sleep. Not when this is an injustice. Sure, I was literally a baby when that song hit peak popularity, but this would've been the perfect time to bring that song back in a drag performance! And now I'm missing it!!!

[Varian is sandwiched between a sleeping Ana and Jun, he doesn't want to wake them up so he's just going to cant his head to one side, widening his eyes incredulously. His free hand, he raises slightly into the air. What the fuck? ]

[Harumasa starts grinning widely at Varian. This is exactly the reaction he's been hoping to get out of him.]

Varian looks up again. He stares at Haru. He stares at Haru for what feels like a full minute. ]

[Varian's expression combined with the message is enough to make him crack. Harumasa snorts and then dissolves into laughter. He tries to keep it quiet for the sleeping Ana and Jun, but it's not as successful as they'd probably like.]

[ As Harumasa starts to laugh, Varian grimaces, waggling his hand to hush him up- before he wakes his siblings up. He'd feel sorry for the pain but also:]

I still have no idea what this song is about. Is she bragging about lying to the person she's dating?

[Unfortunately, Jun really is a light sleeper- especially when he's in a situation that isn't relaxing at home. So his canine ears will twitch at Haru making noise that sounds like either laughing or pain - the ears bumping into Varian's jaw as they do so]

[Maybe Harumasa deserves it, but he needed the laugh. He might have had to do something drastic if he had to sit in silence for any longer.

Well, since Jun is awake, there's no point in texting. For now. He'll lower his voice to avoid waking up Ana, too.]

Speaking of which, no she's not bragging about that. She's singing about how she accidentally made this guy fall in love with her when she was just having fun and isn't in the market for a serious relationship like he is. She's in it to play, he's in it for love, and it's an 'oh crap' moment.

[ He definitely needs a laugh. Honestly, they all need something to break the tension and it might as well be Varian's incapability to connect with pop culture if anything else! He turns his head as Jun's ears bump against his jaw, sighing softly. He moves a hand to brush a hand through Jun's hair, petting those ears lightly. ]

But it's called "oops I did it again" suggesting she has done this multiple times? I feel like she should probably make it clear what her relationship parameters are at the start. Once is a mistake but if it keeps happening that suggests she's the common denominator and should rethink how she communicates that to her partners.
