[There's been a lot to worry about lately- even Varian didn't notice the raccoon's absence immediately. But three days is far too long for him to not show up. Varian's not stupid, he knows full well that Ruddiger and Jun get along like oil and water- that Ruddiger constantly treats Jun like an annoyance to his otherwise comfortable life. He knows his partner has no cause to worry about Ruddiger, the raccoon has put paid to that, but this is worrying him plenty. ]
