Do you want me to help you look? I can't go too far, but I can at least check around various hard to reach spots in the fortress.

[ He's so freaking worried. This is the longest Ruddiger's been away from him since he got him 5 years ago. Even when he was in prison, Ruddiger would come to the bars outside the dungeon to check up on him, evading the guards to make sure Varian was still there. It feels like he's lost a piece of himself.]

Okay, that's good. He never goes too high, he's too lazy for that- but he does like the pipeworks in the common areas, where he can watch people.
