Okay, excellent! So your drag persona will be a refined gentlemen vampire. What other traits does he have? Or what does he represent? Building a drag persona is a bit like making a fictional character! If you can come up with details, it'll help flesh out your act.

Hmm... I think he's quite gregarious, and a bit playful, even fun-loving, but in that sort of composed, dignified way--absolutely the type to make teasing comments with a calm, gentle smile. He's a bit of a pleasure-seeker first and foremost, and takes quite a bit of that pleasure from novelty... He's always seeking out new experiences and knowledge. To him, the worst things you can be are boring or apathetic.

I feel like that's a good start?

I think that's the perfect start. It gives me a really clear image of the persona you're going for - and it's one I think can give you a lot of interesting options for an act!

Now you don't have to decide right now- but since since he's already so fully formed in your mind- do you have a Drag name in mind?

I keep coming back to D. Nos Feratu but I feel like I can do better. Mostly I just want to be a little on the nose with the vampire thing but I didn't want to do a play on the obvious reference.

Hmm... I see what you mean. I think D. Nos Feratu is pretty good! Though there's still time, so if there's an option you think up that you like better, then go with that.

The nice thing about drag names is you can't be too on the nose with them. Most of them are pretty blatant, really.
