I still have trouble believing that there's no war here. It was all I ever knew back home. There aren't even any titans.

How can you say it's fun? I don't get it.

Well, that'll come in time. I'm sure you'll adjust.

Because they teach you things? FOR FREE??? Like, just learning is amazing! There wasn't anything like this for commoners where I came from. And in school you can learn all sorts of fascinating things about the world you live in. Learning is the best!

And just because you don't get math doesn't make it any less fun. You just need to find the right way to learn it, is all.

Books about the outside world were forbidden where I'm from. They'd call you a heretic.

There were laws in place to prevent people from knowing too much.

At least you won't get in trouble for learning about the world here.

I mean, I was definitely called a wizard more than once for my science experiments. You learn to live with it.

Well, look at it that way. Those laws don't exist here- so why not use them to your full advantage? Learn everything you want to learn, there's so much out there to discover!

I get that you're trying to help, but it's not that easy for me. It’s not just about learning—it's about surviving. And I've spent too much time fighting just to stay alive. It’s a little hard to shift gears into thinking about... books and experiments.

Nothing's easy, it takes time to adjust to something new. But you'll never have a chance to learn to adjust to it if you don't start.
